For weekend getaway options, trekking or visiting remote places, Forbes understands how difficult it can be to decide where the best place to travel is. Even so, the North American magazine Forbes has made its choice and Porto is one of the 50 must-visit places for 2023.

“If you have not had the pleasure of visiting Porto, it's a must-add to the travel list”. So states Forbes Advisor, the global platform dedicated to “helping consumers to make informed financial decisions”.

In an article published on January 9^th, the North American magazine emphasizes how “it’s easy to see why so many eyes are set on this Northern Portuguese city”. Anyone traveling to Porto can expect “great food, even better wine and affordable prices”, but also, it adds, “a tile-studded architecture and views of the ocean, from the plethora of “miradouros” throughout the city”.

A true experience in Porto, stresses Forbes, must also include dinner and a fado show, an all-day tour of the Douro Valley wineries, as well as wine tastings, lunch along the way and a visit to the various museums.
