Come discover the Invicta city! Go through the narrow streets, and get to know the history of Porto, its cultural life and its "good plans".

Discover with Tuktour Porto, the city that gave Portugal its name and has a world-famous wine – Port Wine. A World Heritage Site since 1996, the “invicta” city is spiritually baroque.

Take a first look, aboard our electric Tuks, at the Church of Santo António dos Congregados, whose 17th century baroque façade has been lined with “azulejos”.

Our guide will tell you the story of the São Bento Railway Station built at the beginning of the 20th century during the reign of King D. Carlos and Queen D. Amélia on the site where the convent of São Bento de Ave Maria used to be.

We will make a stop at the Romanesque-style Cathedral Sé, the oldest monument in Porto. We will continue to the Church of Santa Clara, of Gothic origin built in the 15th century.

We will cross the Douro River through the Infante Bridge, to Vila Nova de Gaia and its splendid Serra do Pilar Monastery with an exceptional view.

Once again aboard our Tuks, we will return to Porto, Praça da Batalha and the São João National Theatre dating from the 19th century, we will pass by Rua de Santa Catarina and the famous neoclassical style 1920’s Café Majestic where part of the city's history was written. We will go to the Carmo Church, whose side has been covered with blue and white tiles representing the bestowal of the Scapular on Mount Carmel by the Virgin Mary.

TUKTOUR PORTO will take you to Rectory of the University of Porto square and the Faculty of Sciences (FCUP) in neoclassical style in Praça Gomes Teixeira. Its construction began during the reign of King D. João VI and ended in the 19th century. Afterwards, we will continue to the Centro Português de Fotografia, a former prison from the 18th century, with another stop at the Gothic-inspired Lello Bookshop, where you can admire the plaster staircases imitating wood that inspired a passage from the Harry Potter movie.
