The Holocaust Museum of Porto has the mission of promoting education and memory about the Holocaust, making its visitors aware and sensitized so that this, which is one of the darkest episodes in our history, will not be repeated.

Visitors will have the opportunity to visit the reproduction of the Auschwitz’s barracks, as well as a hall with the names of the victims, a memorial flame, a cinema, a conference hall, a study centre, corridors with the whole story and, like in the Holocaust Museum in Washington DC, photographs and screens showing real footage about the before, during and after the tragedy."
