About

Portugal, despite being a geographically small country, is a microcosm of different climates, soils, altitudes, and landscapes. This explains the extraordinary abundance of grape varieties and styles of Portuguese wines.

The city of Porto serves as the capital of Portuguese wine—only about one hour away from five distinct wine regions where different types of wine are produced, including white, red, and sparkling.

WOW offer the Wine Experience, which focuses on all Portuguese wine.

Dedicated to both amateur drinkers and experienced winemakers, Wine Experience aims to demystify wine. Visitors receive the opportunity to learn more about the main agents—the soil, the climate, the grapes, but also about all the processes that take place until it reaches the glass. The experience will educate guests on the different wine varietals, what differentiates them from other regions, and how they should be tasted and conjugated. Additionally, visitors will be invited to experience wine not just by drinking, but immersive experiences using vision, smell, palate, ritual, friendship, and the celebration of moments. WOW also provides visitors the option of embarking on a journey from north to south in Portugal, passing through the archipelagos of Madeira and the Azores.
