Under the motto “It is the voice of the earth yearning for the sea”, from the poem D. Dinis by Fernando Pessoa, and in a great tribute to the shepherds of Serra da Estrela, the Pastel de Bacalhau com Queijo da Serra® was born, as a way of bringing the coastline closer to the inland, celebrating two icons of Portuguese gastronomy: codfish fritter and Serra da Estrela DOP cheese. To this duo, which combines two traditional flavours in a unique speciality, Port wine was added, in a trio that promises a true «Portugal Experience».
