The Oficina de Encadernação António Sousa Oliveira is one of the few that withstands the passage of time, bridging the gap between ancient and modern. Founded in 1969, it moved in 1974 to its current location. The art of binding has been passed down from generation to generation in a family business. It specialises in simple and luxurious binding, restoration and gold-leaf applications.
