About

Museum of the oldest appellation in the world, dedicated to the oldest Appellated and Regulated World Wine Region, has the mission of sharing with the public the precious documentary and artistic heritage, collected and preserved for more than 260 years. Establishing itself as an institutional identity, the Museum intends to promote and disseminate the history and culture of Port Wine, for which the Real Companhia Velha played a decisive role between 1756 and 1834.
