1927 Gelataria Portuense's mission is to produce real gelati in an artisanal way, showing a manufacturing process, using natural local ingredients, and developing flavours with which the Portuenses (natives of Porto) identify themselves with. In 1927, Otello Cattabriga, an ingenious Italian inventor, created the most perfect gelato machine. Cattabriga Effe was the first automatic gelato machine. Our manufacturing process goes back to that time but our recipes are innovative, the end result being a product of excellence. Signature gelati.
