Ecolã is located in Porto’s historic quarter and sells products which are made of wool from the Serra da Estrela region and are 100% Portuguese. Our company specialises in the production of items made of ‘burel’ wool, which are made in a way which preserves traditional culture, using ancestral techniques which are very specific to Portugal. We are the only company which takes wool right from the shearing stage through to the final product. We are a family-run (third generation) environmentally certified Craft Production Workshop (UPA) founded in 1925 and managed by João Clara Assunção.
Ecolã produces a variety of products ranging from blankets to personalised decorative objects, articles of clothing, garments and fashion accessories.
