About

This sculptural set in bronze, a work by the Spanish sculptor Juan Muñoz, was donated to the city by the Spanish company Crédito y Caución, S.A. during Oporto 2001 – European Capital of Culture. It comprises 4 sets of rows of seats where we can see different groups of gabby and smiling people that average out 13 figures. Each of them displays a singular movement, sometimes leaning forward or in an unbalanced position falling off the seat, always with a prevailing feature in common: hilarious laugh expression.
