The jewellery shop of the Stock Exchange Palace presents an ancient art dating back to around 2500 BC, well appreciated around the world. With varied purity indexes in Portugal, the gold mainly worked on is that of 19.2 carats, the reason why it is labelled as Portuguese Gold, one of the most precious worldwide.
With the city of Gondomar representing 50-60% of Portuguese jewellery industry, we had to count with the goldsmiths of this municipality not to let the most prominent Portuguese craft fall into oblivion.
