About

Installed in the Monastery of Serra do Pilar, the venue Património a Norte, under the responsibility of the Direção Regional de Cultura do Norte (Regional Northern Culture Directorate), aims to make known the monuments heritage, managed by the DRCN and open to the public, in northern Portugal.

Highlighted are the various classified monuments dotted around the North of Portugal and its four classified by UNESCO World Heritage sites: Porto, Guimarães, the Alto Douro Wine Region and the Prehistoric Rock-Art Sites of the Côa River Valley.
