Located at the Asprela campus, one of the largest in the peninsula, the Porto Polytechnic School of Education (Escola Superior de Educação do Politécnico do Porto) provides training in 8 undergraduate degrees and 13 masters, as well as technical and professional courses and several short courses. Because someone who knows, does things, and someone who knows and does things, teaches.

Our mission is teaching, education and social intervention. We train professionals in scientific, technical, artistic and pedagogical areas, always aiming at an ethical training towards citizenship. The diversity of our training courses is aimed towards the provision of community care. We are committed to the society by training pedagogues linked to the Visual Arts, Sports Sciences; Music Education, Heritage Management, among other areas of knowledge. We carry out applied research and innovation in a professional context, which strongly promotes the improvement and/or transformation of the educational reality. School where education, culture, sport and citizenship converge in a unique space of training and knowledge.
