UFP (Fernando Pessoa University), established by Fundação Ensino e Cultura “Fernando Pessoa” (Fernando Pessoa Education and Culture Foundation) is the result of an innovative higher education project which started in 1980. UFP objectives are education, research, community extension and the provision of services in the field of education by its faculties, according to its scientific and pedagogical structure: Faculty of Science and Technology (Porto); Faculty of Health Sciences and Higher School of Health (Porto)
