The Faculty of Dental Medicine of the University of Porto, referred to as FMDUP, is, according to the articles of association of the University, an organic unit of education and research with self-governance, statutory, scientific, pedagogical, cultural, executive and financial autonomy, and a taxpayer. It is endowed with the provision of services to the community, which are governed by the scientific and pedagogical interest, and is a prestigious institution, both nationally and internationally.
