The Faculty of Nutrition and Food Science of the University of Porto (Faculdade de Ciências da Nutrição e Alimentação da Universidade do Porto-FCNAUP) is the most recent faculty of the University of Porto, established in 1996. FCNAUP is the only national public faculty that has the degree of Nutritional Sciences. FCNAUP contributes to the continuity of the development of a solid and organised academic community based on a high-quality degree, training pre-graduate and postgraduate students to get actively involved in an interdisciplinary research and in the community intervention.
