Since its founding, the ACP-CCIP has enriched and accumulated a unique collection in terms of various documents, books, monographs, encyclopaedias, international treaties, old manuscripts and atlases from more than 10,000 volumes available to the public, for consultation.
You can also find a wide range of reports, brochures, yearbooks, magazines and other periodicals and collections of the city, as well as regional newspapers.
Connected via computers to the national and international network of Documentation Centres and Libraries, it has an internet terminal, and its databases are constantly being updated.
It still holds a substantial archive of photography and images related to Porto, to the Palácio da Bolsa (the Stock Exchange Palace) and the main events which took place there over the last 100 years.
It has edited a variety of brochures and monographs, such as reprints of the themes of "O Tripeiro", the book commemorating its 150th Anniversary or the art book on the Palácio da Bolsa.
