The Porto subway has 6 lines, a network of 67 kilometres, 80 stations (14 of which are underground), 102 vehicles, 44 lifts and 28 cars parks spread out across the network.

It services the municipalities of Póvoa de Varzim, Vila do Conde, Maia, Matosinhos, Porto, Vila Nova de Gaia e Gondomar and in 2010, 54 million ticket validations were registered.
