The Porto Voluntary Firemen organization is a humanitarian association which was founded on the 9th April 1924. It offers assistance in the combat of forest, urban and industrial fires, sea search and rescue, sick people transportation and pre-hospitalization assistance in the wider Porto region.
The services given include ambulance services, emergency door entry, burst pipe assistance, water provision, tree cutting, haulage up to 1,750 kg P.B, cleaning and/or washing of open or closed spaces.
