About

It was created by Teixeira Lopes (son) and inaugurated in August 1904, paying homage to the remarkable horticulturist José Marques Loureiro (the gardener of Virtudes). It is constituted by a bronze figure - Flora - set on a stone pedestal, where one can see the effigy of José Marques Loureiro in a bronze medallion.
