Theatre school of the Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espectáculo do Instituto Politécnico do Porto that focuses on specialist training.
The theatre is named after the remarkable pianist Helena Sá e Costa from Porto. She has made a substantial cultural contribution and still continues to be responsible for the production of new generations of artists.
Their plan is based around generating new ideas and creators with the intention of attracting outside productions, particularly the contemporary performing arts, ESMAE dance, music and theatre productions or renting the hall for performing arts shows.
