About

In 1855, the wine merchant Ostende Rozès founded Rozès House which was dedicated to, among other things, the marketing of Port Wine in Bordeaux. The quality of wine led Edmond Rozès, son of the founder, to create the Rozès brand in 1910, launching his own wine and settling in Vila Nova de Gaia. Since 1999, the company has been owned by the Vranken Pommery Monopole Group. As part of the first group of Port Wine exporters to settle in the Douro Region, Rozès has consolidated its presence in domestic and international markets. Their wine is masterfully produced in the Douro Valley thanks to the careful control of each stage from the vine plantations to the ageing and bottling of the wine.
