Arcádia is a Portuguese family-owned company which produces handmade chocolate and almonds. Founded in 1933 in the city of Porto by Manuel Pereira Bastos, the brand is currently run by the founder's grandchildren.

Known for its Traditional Assortment, which maintains the original recipe since its foundation, as well as the Languages of Chocolate Línguas de Gato, innovation is an integral part of this company, for example the famous chocolate bonbons with Port wine, brandy or even ginger and cinnamon. Arcádia has 70 types of chocolates available and at certain times of the year it even produces about 60,000 chocolates a day.
