Founded in 1935, it is a harmonious blend of traditional and modern. On the one hand, the wood floor, stone walls and old-world photographs take customers back to Foz as it was in the old days. On the other, its functionality and some of its aesthetic features ensure that they remain firmly in the present.
Much more than a confectionary, it also offers a dining-room on the first floor as well as a gourmet area and it makes its own ice-creams, sorbets, sweets and pancakes.
Its pleasant upper level outdoor seating area affords a magnificent sweeping view of the sea making it a truly excellent place from which to enjoy spectacularly unique sunsets.
