About

Inaugurated in 1976, it is the oldest shopping centre in the Iberian Peninsula and stands as an important historical symbol for Porto´s commerce. Its 6 floors are divided by 250 shops and a car park with a total area of almost 17,000 m².
In spite of some well known brand stores, such as Livraria Bertrand or Chicco, its attraction lies in its independent shops, in particular those which are considered as speciality. You can come across shops completely dedicated to design, modeling, gothic metal work, faith rituals, martial arts and philately and numismatics.
Inside the centre there are even a number of cafés, restaurants, games halls, art galleries, a bingo hall, a disco, a gym and even a campus of the Superior Institute of Financial and Fiscal Studies.
