Serralves em Festa celebrates Serralves as an inclusive space for contemporary art and culture, also incorporating thinking and practices linked to reflection on the environment and the landscape. This is the biggest contemporary culture event in Portugal and one of the biggest in Europe, with hundreds of activities taking place in the various spaces of the Serralves Foundation.
Over the years it has become a mandatory crossing point for thousands of Portuguese and foreign visitors and in 2019 it broke all attendance records by receiving more than 264 thousand visitors. With the presence of national artists and names from all over the world, it is a mandatory crossing point for tens of thousands of visitors of all ages for 50 consecutive hours.
This party features hundreds of events for audiences of all ages and generations: music, dance, theater, performance and contemporary circus, exhibitions at the Museum, cinema, video, photography and numerous workshops.
