You are guaranteed to be born and to die. The cycle of life teaches us that after we die, we may be born again having the freedom to return to the physical realm. EVOCAR [Summon] is a play that lives in the imagination and in the possibility of there being a life after death that never comes. It died in this place and now survives degraded into ashes as the body expands through space. It says goodbye to the physical realm and ties itself to the awareness of its body's mortality. Its soul leans on the hope of one day being born.
