Considered one of the voices of fado on the rise, Ana Pinhal founded with Francisco Almeida (flamenco guitar) the project that fuses fado and flamenco, “Fado Violado”, and with which she released the album “A Jangada de Pedra” (2015). She was part of the band BoiteZuleika, a resident fado singer at Casa da Mariquinhas and Taberna Real Fado (Porto) and is currently part of the Fado In Porto group, at Caves Calém (Vila Nova de Gaia). She has performed in Portugal, Spain, France, Holland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and India. In Sala 2, she will be accompanied by André Teixeira (fado guitar) and João Martins (Portuguese guitar) while singing the words of great poets — such as António Botto, José Régio, Ary dos Santos and many others — whose creations have been transformed into songs.
