Nick Mason is the only Pink Floyd member to have played on all of the band's studio albums, thus going back to the group's earliest records. Nick Mason's "Saucerful of Secrets" came about after waiting nearly a quarter of a century for Pink Floyd to reunite. The group features Spandau Ballet guitarist, Gary Kemp, longtime Pink Floyd bassist, Guy Pratt, guitarist Lee Harris and keyboard player Dom Beken. Mason stresses that the group is not a tribute band, but wanted to “capture the spirit” of the time; emphasising that Kemp was not a replacement for original Pink Floyd vocalist Syd Barrett, who left the band in 1968.
