One of the most promising of the new generation of guitarists, Rafael Pacheco began by dedicating himself to the fado guitar and, later, to the Portuguese guitar, having had some lessons with the master Custódio Castelo. He began to perform in Lisbon fado nights in 2018, and since then has accompanied figures such as Maria da Nazaré, António Rocha, Lenita Gentil, Maria Armanda, Maria da Fé, Maria Amélia Proença, Mariza and Hélder Moutinho. He has played in the most famous fado houses, namely O Faia, Clube de Fado, Adega Machado, Café Luso, Mesa de Frades and Maria da Mouraria, and on important national and international stages.
