About

Beatriz Felício fell in love with fado when she heard Amália Rodrigues singing on television, she was 7 years old. She learned from her elders, in fado houses, and chose her great references: Amália, Fernanda Maria, Teresa Tarouca, Lucília do Carmo, Ana Moura and Carminho. Today she sings in famous houses such as Mesa de Frades, Parreirinha de Alfama, Casa de Linhares — Bacalhau de Molho, Fado Menor, etc. She participated in television shows such as Uma Canção Para Ti, Grande Prémio do Fado and The Voice Portugal, and also in Festival da Canção RTP, in 2017. At 22, she sings with the freshness of a young voice rooted in tradition.
