About

Scolari's origins date back to mid-2019, between invitations to improvised jams, beers in hand and a general enthusiasm for mixing jazz, noise and drone in the studio - with all the possibilities and technical-tactical freedoms that exist in between. SCOLARI are António M. Silva (Sal Grosso, Peak Bleak), Bruno Pereira (Aires, Shikabala, Peak Bleak) and Luís Vicente in a clearly exploratory dialogue based on ideas and concepts common to the trio, such as noise / silence, abstract / concrete, melodic / dissonant, bitter / sweet.

They recently released a split with Larmschütz at the Dutch record label Faux Amis, and this debut in Porto will serve to present their debut album “Mata-Mata”.
