Ekaterina Richter is an associate professor at the Moscow Conservatory and a strong representative of the Russian piano school. A disciple of Elena Richter and Elisso Virssaladze, in Moscow, she also studied under Klaus Hellwig in Berlin and under Pavel Giliov in Cologne, having been awarded in important international competitions. In this recital, she interprets key works by Chopin and other composers of Polish origin who, later, influenced by that icon of Romanticism. De Rachmaninoff, considered by many to be the last great romantic, Richter performs four of his virtuoso preludes.
