About

1969. Marighella did not have time to be afraid. On one side, a violent military dictatorship. On the other, an intimidated left-wing. Surrounded by guerrillas 30 years younger than him and willing to fight back, the revolutionary leader chose to act. In Marighella, Brazil's No. 1 enemy tries to organise a resistance front while denouncing the horror of torture and the infamy of censorship installed by an oppressive regime. In a radical combat experience, he does it in the name of a people whose support for his cause is uncertain - while he tries to fulfil his promise to reunite with his son, from whom he has been estranged for years, as a way to protect him.
