The great poet Mayakovsky is resurrected in the distant future. We will call the inhabitants of that other time Os do Futuro (From the Future).

An experimental programme of human resurrection is underway. Mayakovsky is one of the humans from the past that Os do Futuro wish to meet. Involved in this time travel, the revolution’s poet finds himself caught in one of his favourite traps. Things get complicated, but Os do Futuro do not give up on their design, as Mayakovsky’s poetry and theatre are full of messages that they assumed were addressed to them. Through this unscientific fiction inhabited by actors and puppets, we will try to (re)animate some objects in Vladimir Mayakovsky’s complex universe: breaking with traditional structures, the hybridization between love desire and political enthusiasm in his poetry, social criticism and correspondence with the future.
