Orelha de Deus

About
Balleteatro, artistic structure in residence at Coliseu, presents "Orelha de Deus", based on the text by Jenny Schwartz.
An imaginary airport, where a couple does not move forward, nor back, for fear of continuing their lives after the loss of a ten-year-old son. In their inability to deal with grief, they take refuge in their own universe, almost absurd, in the search for a way out without ever facing the heart of the problem.
Say what we think. And think about what we do. And keep the composure. And assess the situation. And counting victories. And counting shotguns. And choosing battles. And swallow a bitter pill. And take it slow. And make it last. And do not do what’s right. No matter what people think. And looking back. And cross the finishing line. And get to the top. In a straight line. And enjoy. And be delighted. And rectify. And fix. And wait in the shade. And hope for. And enjoy life. And paint the town red. And have a good time. And eat slowly. And sleep peacefully. And stay calm. And rejoice. And keep the faith. And face the facts. And move forward. And acknowledge it. And confess. And start over again. And take the reins. And to blow one’s trumpet. And make a show of. And change the subject. And living large. And then we'll look at nothing. Not moving a finger. And take a deep breath. And have the balls. And lean on. Relax. And we will have broken legs in the future. For richer, for poorer. In sickness and in health. And the referee is already chosen. Body and soul.
