About

100 flutes, 100 saxophones and 100 clarinets on the same stage. This was the 2015 International Music Day, celebrated with new pieces created especially for the occasion and for this very peculiar formation. Besides this commission to composer Daniel Moreira, the concert made known the pieces of students from the Composition Course at Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo. The six pieces presented are reinterpretations of music by Johann Sebastian Bach.
