About

Dancem! (Dance!) it remains the key word that opens the (virtual) door to dance, despite the real closure of its stages. We conclude this cycle with the online broadcast of Sons Misteriosos, a play for children by Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz, available on demand on the BOL platform, in high resolution and with a multi-camera production. Between January 29th and February 5th, the duo asks us this question: can a sound lie about its origin?

In Sons Misteriosos, a soundscape, fake but that seems natural, is created by a foley, an artist for whom sounds are mouldable material. Can a sound lie about its origin? By operating the friction between sound and image and a non-linearity between movement, voice, word and objects, the authors invite us to a constant navigation between abstract and concrete, reality and fiction, so dear to the children's universe.
