Porto Pianofest reaches its seventh edition, which starts on August 1st and lasts for nine days. Casa da Música will be the stage for the festival’s opening, with the Brazilian group Clarice Assad Trio, one of the great figures of the MPB/Brazilian classical fusion and which debuts in Portugal.

This year's edition also features the national debut of Spanish pianist Josu de Solaun, awarded in 2021 with an International Classical Music Awards (ICMA). José Ramón Méndez returns to Porto Pianofest, in what is now his seventh recital in seven years, keeping close to the loyal audience that usually follows him.

There will be masterclasses, conferences and artist residencies for talents from around the world.
