Folefest plays a crucial role in the dissemination of classical accordion, with a competition and a festival that has been introducing instrumentalists and repertoire of exceptional quality, under the artistic coordination of the accordionist, Paulo Jorge Ferreira. One of the important moments of Folefest is the Laureates’ Concert, which takes place annually in Sala 2 of Casa da Música, showing the diversity of formations in which the accordion participates with a fascinating repertoire.
