With an unconventional lineup, trombone, two guitars, clarinet and drums, the student quartet of Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo called ESMAE Jazz Ensemble performs an original repertoire, written and designed for this unusual lineup, giving emphasis on improvisation without predefined forms. Despite being an ensemble created in an academic context, it does not prevent the music from reflecting each one of the elements that consist it.
