Vignette is the new project by Daniel Bernardes in collaboration with João Barradas and Filipe Quaresma for a journey through Portuguese cinema. Diving into the films of filmmakers such as Manoel de Oliveira, Paulo Rocha, Pedro Costa, Teresa Villaverde and João Botelho, Daniel Bernardes composed new music that joins his piano to João Barradas’ accordion and Filipe Quaresma’s cello, in a concert where classical music and improvisation have free rein.
