In its sixth edition, IndieJúnior —International Children's and Youth Film Festival of Porto returns to “Teatro Rivoli” and other venues in Porto, to present the most creative and original children's and youth films being made around the world.

The festival includes of an international competition of feature and short films, with around 50 latest films, including fiction, documentary and animation films, almost all of which are premiering in Portugal, and which are evaluated by three judges who decide who are the winners. Several of the films in competition are selected by students from schools in the city (from preschool to secondary school) that are part of the initiative “Eu Programo um Festival de Cinema” (I Programme a Film Festival), organised in partnership with “Paralelo” - Performing Arts Programme of “Teatro Municipal do Porto”.

From 25 to 30 January 2022, IndieJúnior brings to Porto a great film celebration, a bridge to the big screen which can fit all ideas and dreams.
