Over the years, António Laranjeira has established himself as a talented fado singer and his poetry has been sung by the likes of Beatriz da Conceição and Ana Moura. The most famous fado houses, such as Marquês da Sé and Senhor Vinho in Lisbon, have surrendered to his voice, now performing frequently at the restaurant O Fado (Porto). He was one of the outstanding voices of Filipe La Féria’s musical “Amália”. His last work, “Luz”, represented “the celebration of life, love and hope for better days”. He will perform In a trio format, at Sala 2 to present several original songs from his latest album but also great fado classics by Fernando Tordo/Paulo de Carvalho, Alfredo Marceneiro, Artur Ribeiro, among many others.
