Francesco Filidei once again premieres one of his pieces in Porto, this time a concerto for piano and orchestra, in a late afternoon entirely dedicated to the Theme Country. Both the conductor and the soloist are making their debut at Casa da Música: Tito Ceccherini is the founder of the prestigious ensemble Risognanze and is a promoter of contemporary music; Maurizio Baglini won the Chopin Contest and, at the age of 24, he won the World Music Piano Master in Montecarlo. The programme is complete with Italian compositions premiering in Portugal.
