Counterpoint invites British duo Spectrasoul and Dutch Icicle to perform at the Trust The Bass event. The ninth edition of Counterpoint's bimonthly residency will be held on December 14th at Hard Club in Porto.

Since 2006, the British duo Spectrasoul has contributed to the proliferation of Drum & Bass, producing timeless tracks at record labels such as Metalheadz or Critical Music. By remixing artists such as Jungle, Sampha and Rudimental, the duo Spectrasoul captured the attention of BBC Radio1 who invited them to record Essential Mix, an honor reserved for the best dance music artists worldwide. With performances in over 30 countries, and playing at Boiler Room, DJ Mag HQ or Mixmag's The Lab London, Spectrasoul's soulful music now hits Hard Club.

The second international guest is Dutch Icicle, who returns to Portugal to present, for the first time on Portuguese soil, his record label - Entropy. Icicle's sound flows from the most deep and underground tones to the heavier notes of neurofunk. From the acclaimed anthem "Dreadnaught" with SP:MC, to collaborations with Mefjus, to the opening theme of Let It Roll 2019, listening to Icicle is as nostalgic as it is innovative.
