About

Several Social Institutions and Parishes of the Historic Centre of Porto will hold a Living Nativity Scene.

The initiative consists in portraying the journey of the three Wise Men on their way to the Nativity scene, where the human figures representing Mary, Joseph and Jesus are. This route will start at Rua Sousa Viterbo headed by 3 knights, mounted on horseback, representing the figures of the Magi. Behind them follow the members of the Historical Centre community, dressed in shepherds, a procession of several dozen participants.

The route will be enliven by Folklore Dance Groups, with a repertoire fit for the season.
