Minimalist and hypnotic, Jozef van Wissem's music takes us on a journey through the centuries - the Dutch lutenist and composer bridges the baroque classicism of his instrument with his contemporary and innovative approach to it.

Jozef van Wissem is a frequent collaborator of cult filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, with whom he has recorded several albums, and is also the composer of the soundtrack for the film "Only Lovers Left Alive", a work that granted him an award at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Josef van Wissem will present his latest solo album "We Adore You, You Have No Name" in Porto.
