DAY 1

When you arrive at Porto, our driver / guide will be waiting for you at the Airport, and he will take you through Douro, one of the oldest demarcated regions in the world. We planned this trip to offer you an exclusive and unique tour through the Douro Valley, with some of the most emblematic sites and memorable experiences.

Arrival at the Hotel and check-in. Dinner at the Hotel or nearby.

DAY 2

After a delicious breakfast at the Hotel, our driver/guide will take you to Ucanha, an old medieval village. Its imponent Tower is believed to have been built in 1465. However, its bridge is even older, thought to have been built in Roman times.

After the visit to this small village with a lot of history, we will head up to "Caves da Murganheira", a winery in the same village, where we will have a complete tour through the complex, and also a sparkling wine tasting.

We will later drive to and visit "Quinta da Portela", to know more about the history of this winery. A sparkling wine tasting is also included.

Return to the Hotel after the visit. Dinner and accommodation at the Hotel.

DAY 3

After breakfast, we will do an off-road SUV tour between the villages of Pinhão, Favaios and Tua. This tour will allow us to discover amazing landscapes on the Douro wine region in a different way, because we will be off the main roads. This area is exceptionally beautiful and will create amazing visual memories.

After all the thrills of discovering the region, we will have lunch at "Restaurante Calça Curta", a traditional Portuguese restaurant, where we can taste some delicacies of the region.

Later on the day, we will have a private boat tour, where we can admire the Douro Valley in its fullness, from the river. While on the boat, we can enjoy a brunch with wine tasting.

Quinta do Bomfim is the next stop - one of the best wineries in the Douro Region, where an amazing wine tasting will be waiting for you.

Once the tasting is over, we shall return to the Hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

DAY 4

Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, we will visit a famous Vinho Verde winery, with a tasting of their wines (Quinta da Aveleda or Quinta de Monverde).

After this thorough tour, we will stop for lunch in Amarante or Penafiel.

And later, after this delicious meal, we will hit the road to Porto.

DAY 5

Breakfast and check-out. Private transfer back to Porto Airport.
