DAY 1

Upon your arrival at Porto airport, our driver/guide will give you a warm welcome and will drive you through Porto, the emblematic Portuguese city considered the emerging European destination. It is the home of a quaint maze of narrow streets, stunning historic riverbanks and, of course, Port Wine. Here, the Douro River meets the Atlantic Ocean, where the proud locals will welcome you with humble hospitality. Based on our best seller private Tour, this short break was designed to make the most of this city, which is customizable and exclusive.

DAY 2

After a great breakfast at your Hotel, our driver/guide will lead you through a gorgeous Half-Day Tour across the city of Porto, also known as the “Invicta City” (the “Unbeaten City”). In fact, this name was given in the 19th century for the courageous deeds of its inhabitants in the battles, particularly for resisting in the siege of Porto, made by the Absolutist troops. Worldwide famous for its wine, bridges and ancient and contemporary architecture, is also considered the capital of work and culture.

We’ll start at the historic city centre, designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996, for its historic local treasures and astonishing monuments in a labyrinth of ever-winding, cobbled streets. Its extravagant Baroque churches and stately Neoclassical buildings stand out, as well as its picturesque squares. Admire the Torre dos Clérigos, Avenida dos Aliados, Rua de Sta. Catarina, Mercado do Bolhão, Sé Cathedral and much more. You will also stroll through its impressive streets and explore the Douro riverbanks. And at the end we will cross the sophisticated D. Luis Bridge and we will visit one of the most famous Port Wine Cellars, with a pleasant wine tasting.

After a delicious breakfast and your check-out, our driver will transfer you to the Porto airport.
